Riccardo's opened in the Summer of June 2001, we immediately became known for our authentic homemade Italian cuisine and our loyal customers came to be family.
Over the years we served thousands of customers at our family ristorante. We were honored to have been DDO's neighborhood favorite Italian restaurant and with this, we bring over 22 years of memories. We would like to thank our loyal staff who were a part of the Riccardo's team from the beginning. We thank our parents Mike and Anita for supporting us in making Riccardo's a great success by bringing many of their recipes.
It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of our establishment as of February 7, 2023. Since COVID our business has been affected by rising costs of goods and rent. We tried our very best to negotiate better terms with our landlord but unfortunately, we were unable to come to a mutual agreement.
We will miss you all and look forward to our next chapter. You were all like family to us. We value each and every one of you and thank you for your support.

Our Story
Started by Marco and Sandra in 2001, Riccardo’s is an outstanding restaurant with a family-oriented reputation of homemade Italian cooking with outstanding service. The brother and sister team opened a family restaurant so that they could share their mothers’ cooking with others who enjoy the taste of home-cooked Italian meals. Now Riccardo’s is a favorite familiar local restaurant in the West Island, where you’ll eat and be treated like family.

The best restaurants in the West Island of Montreal
❝ Love this place. Went for the first time and I love the ambiance and the staff are great. The calamari is worth having. I enjoyed everything especially the dessert Dulce Leche ( I think that's what it's called) . I will Definitely be going back. ❞
